HORSESHOE OF THE SUN GOD HORSE

(photographed in Bulgaria at the beginning of December 2022)
Gallic, therefore also Thracian, i.e. Illyrian or serbian GRIF and CRIF mean the same as ARU and BAL [1]:
CRIF, firm, strong, powerful [2]
CRIF = BAL = SUN [3]
ARU = CARU = GARU = SARU, firm, powerful; quick; plough; weapon (protection) [4]
In folk belief a horseshoe on the front door of the house is a symbol of protection and luck.

GRIF SVETOVIDOVOG KONJA
(snimljeno u Bugarskoj početkom decembra 2022.)
  • Galsko, dakle i tračansko, tj. ilirsko, odnosno srpsko GRIF i CRIF znače isto kao ARU i BAL [1]:
  • CRIF, čvrst, jak, silan [2]
  • CRIF = BAL = SUNCE [3]
  • ARU = CARU = GARU = SARU, čvrst, silan; brz; plug; oružje (zaštita) [4]
U narodnom vjerovanju grif na ulaznim vratima kuće je simbol zaštite.
