(photographed in Bulgaria at the beginning of December 2022)
Gallic, therefore also Thracian, i.e. Illyrian or serbian GRIF and CRIF mean the same as ARU and BAL [1]:
CRIF = BAL = SUN [3]
ARU = CARU = GARU = SARU, firm, powerful; quick; plough; weapon (protection) [4]
In folk belief a horseshoe on the front door of the house is a symbol of protection and luck.

GRIF SVETOVIDOVOG KONJA
(snimljeno u Bugarskoj početkom decembra 2022.)
- Galsko, dakle i tračansko, tj. ilirsko, odnosno srpsko GRIF i CRIF znače isto kao ARU i BAL [1]:
- CRIF, čvrst, jak, silan [2]
- CRIF = BAL = SUNCE [3]
- ARU = CARU = GARU = SARU, čvrst, silan; brz; plug; oružje (zaštita) [4]
U narodnom vjerovanju grif na ulaznim vratima kuće je simbol zaštite.
